I turned 59 a few weeks ago and for a while I felt an urge to get back into writing again, something I had been doing quite successfully last about 40 years ago….
Just a few words about me to start: I am Swiss by birth, but have lived also for many years in the UK (long enough to now hold dual Swiss and British citizenships), am married and got a son. I am living and working now in Switzerland but regularly spending time with my family in our house in London.
I always had a pronounced interest in politics, the economy and business – but with age got more opinionated , so I have decided to share my musings about the above but also life in general with a wider audience – sort of some self-administered psycho-therapy.
Having worked a long time ago in private banking, I have also recently rekindled my interest in stocks and shares (and investment funds) and will no doubt share some of my investment ideas with you, my discerning audience, as well. Needless to say that you follow my investment ideas strictly at your own risk (I am not a qualified investment professional).
So what’s the point of this blog? I don’t know myself yet, but I am looking forward to finding out…. and in the meantime feel free to post your own comments …..
